Good morning and welcome back to real life. Here's what's going on today to get you through Monday.
The McClung Museum will have a stroller tour this morning specifically for parents, caregivers, and their kiddos. It's absolutely free to attend, but they do ask that you register here (and register for upcoming stroller tours).
At noon in the visitor center, check out jazz-country outfit the Bumper Jacksons, who'll play for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with the Carolina Story. It's free to attend, as always.
Tonight at 6:30, head over to John Sevier Baptist Church for a zumba class led by Carrie Jackson. It's $5 to participate. More info here.
The Knoxville Green Party will meet tonight at 7 at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria for its open discussion group. It's free to attend (but 21+ only). For more info call (865) 523-6775.
Wrap up the night at the Preservation Pub, where Big Pink will play at 10 p.m. Expect covers of The Band, Bob Dylan, and Wilco (fans of the former might get the inside joke). Cover's $3. 21+ only.
