The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Rob Nance, Lucrezio, and Thao and the Get Down Stay Down

Good morning and happy snow day! There are things scheduled to go on today--maybe call ahead and make sure they haven't been cancelled before you attempt to dig out of your parking spot.

At noon in the visitor center, Memphis folk singer Valerie June will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Lucrezio. As always, it's free to attend. And definitely worth tuning in.

Claire Metz will teach a tribal fusion belly dance class at 6 p.m. at the Broadway Academy of Performing Arts and Events. It's $12 to participate. Again, call ahead on this one to make sure it's still on.

North Carolina singer/songwriter Rob Nance will play a free show at the Preservation Pub at 8 p.m. 21+ only.

And if you miss Lucrezio at noon, the folk-pop/husband-wife duo will perform at the Bowery at 9 p.m. Tickets are $7. Buy them here. 18+ only.

For the night owls who won't mind being out a little late, check out Thao and the Get Down Stay Down at the Pilot Light at 10 p.m. Tickets to the show are $12. Buy them here. 18+ only.
