The Daily Plan-It: Zumba, Waynestock 4, and Umphrey's McGee

Good morning! Did everyone dig out of the three-inch snow drifts? It was pretty hardcore out there. Anyway, here's what's going on around town this Thursday.

At noon, the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church will have a gentle yoga and meditation class. Donations will be accepted. For more info call (865) 577-2021 or email yogaway249@gmail.com.

At 2 p.m., the Blount County Public Library in Maryville will have an introductory computers class. If you know of any computer beginners, send them that way! The class is free. For more info call (865) 273-1436.

Carrie Jackson will lead a zumba class at 6 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church. It's $5 to participate. For more info, check out Jackson's website.

Local music festival Waynestock 4 kicks off tonight at 7 at Relix Variety Theater with a songwriter symposium. It continues through the weekend, with plenty of music to keep you busy. This year, the festival will benefit the E.M. Jellinek Center, which supports chemically-dependent men. Tickets are $5. More info at the event's website.

Proggy Indiana jam band Umphrey's McGee is back in town, and will play their tunes at the Tennessee Theatre tonight at 9. Tickets are $25. Buy them here.
