The Daily Plan-It: Books Sandwiched In, BLAM! Watch Party, and Rachel Brooke

Good morning and happy hump day! Here's what's going on around town today.

At noon, hop over to the East Tennessee History Center for the Knox County Public Library's Books Sandwiched In series. Today Reverend Bob Galloway, pastor emeritus at Metropolitan Community Church, will lead a discussion on You Can Tell Just by Looking by Michael Bronski, Ann Pellegrini, and Michael Amico. It's free to attend!

This afternoon from 3 to 7 p.m., representatives from the Tennessee Health Care Campaign will be at the South Knoxville Community Center to assist people in signing up for health insurance on the new Marketplace. The help is free! For more info call (865) 693-7809.

Then at 7, the Disc Exchange will host the BLAM! 2014 Bonnaroo lineup announcement watch party. Find out who's going to be performing at the festival this summer. It's free to attend!

Detroit honky-tonk singer/songwriter Rachel Brooke will perform at the Well at 9 p.m. with Cutthroat Shamrock. Cover's $7. 21+ only.

At 10 p.m., catch Smokin' Dave-a-Palooza perform at the Preservation Pub along with Jack Shadow's Nick Cave Tribute. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
