Good morning! Here's what going on around town today.

At 7 p.m., the Knoxville Writers Guild will meet at the Laurel Theater for a discussion on online journalism. Members get in free, and admission for nonmembers is $2. More info here.

Hawaiian ukelele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro will perform at the Clayton Center for the Arts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35. Buy them here.

Layzie Bone, formerly of the R&B/hip-hop act Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, will perform at NV Nightclub with Mo Thugs. Tickets are $8-$12. Buy them here.

Wrap up the night at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria, where Bobby Bare Jr. will perform at 10 p.m. 21+ only.
