The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Juliet and the Lonesome Romeos, Belly Dance, and Elise Davis

Good morning and happy hump day! There's snow in the forecast, so just be cool on the road. It's snow, not lava. Watch out for ice later, and do call ahead today before going to any events.

The Emporium Center for Arts and Culture (open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) will have on display a collection of photos from Slovenian artist Manca Juvan depicting civil life in Afghanistan from 2003 to 2009. The photos will be on display through March 1. It's free to go check them out!

At noon in the visitor center, Juliet and the Lonesome Romeos will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special along with W.B. Givens. As always, it's free to attend.

At 6 p.m., there will be a tribal fusion belly dance class at the Broadway Academy of Performing Arts and Events. Claire Metz will lead the class, which costs $12 to participate. More info here.

Nashville Americana musician Elise Davis will perform at the Preservation Pub at 7 p.m. There's no cover! 21+ only.

The Brackins Blues Jam starts at 9 p.m. at Brackins Blues Club. Eugene Wilson and the Smokin' Section will host. No cover! 21+ only.
