The Daily Plan-It: Dan Tedesco, Patrick O'Keeffe, and 'Cheap Thrills'

Good morning! It's Monday. Hang in there while you take a look at what's going on around town today.

At noon in the visitor center, Dan Tedesco will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special. As always, it's free to attend.

Still need to get your taxes done? Head over to Knox County CAC (2247 Western Ave) from 4 to 7 p.m., where IRS-certified volunteers will be on hand to help low- to moderate-income earners file their taxes (for free!). For more info call (865) 546-3500.

There will be a gentle yoga and meditation class at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church at 5:30. Donations will be accepted. For more info call (865) 577-2021 or email yogaway249@gmail.com.

At 7 p.m., head over to UT's Hodges Library and catch Irish-American writer Patrick O'Keeffe talk about his long-awaited novel. It's free to attend and open to the public.

At 9 p.m., the Scruffy City Hall will screen a Knoxville Horror Film Fest movie called "Cheap Thrills." Body horror is involved, if that's your thing. It's $10 to attend. 18+ only.
