Good morning and happy hump day! Here's what's going on around town today.

At noon at the East Tennessee History Center, Anne Bridges and Ken Wise will discuss their new bibliography (with Russell Clements) of early sources related to the Smoky Mountains, Terra Incognita: An Annotated Bibliography of the Great Smoky Mountains, 1544-1934. It's free to attend!

Certified IRS volunteers will be on hand at the Knox County CAC (2247 Western Ave) to help low- to moderate-income earners file their taxes for free. More info here, or by calling (865) 546-3500.

The MidWest Winds woodwind quintet will perform at 8 p.m. in UT's Alumni Memorial Building. The show's free to attend and open to the public. Go check it out!

If you're on the Strip around 9 p.m., head over to the Longbranch Saloon, where Nothing to Write Home About will perform with the Threads and the Good Times. Cover's $5. 18+ only.

Echoes, a new post-punk outfit led by music vet Henry Gibson (Cold Hands, Wolf at the Door), will perform at the Preservation Pub at 10 p.m. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
