The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Kathie Odom, Barley's Open Mic Night, and Bliss on Tap

Good morning! Hang in there--Mondays only last one day. Take a look at what's going on around town to keep you busy.

The District Gallery opens at 10 a.m. Head over to check out Kathie Odom's exhibit "Vision of Home." Odom is the Dogwood Arts Festival's official print artist for 2014, and it's the last week her work will be at the gallery. So go check out the paintings! It's free! (The gallery closes at 5:30 p.m.)

At noon in the visitor center, check out Alli Epperson, who'll perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Kelle Jolly and Will Boyd. As always, it's free to attend.

Need a new workout? Head over to the Amused Life Collective for the Dance It Out/Steam Room class (that's 30 minutes of cardio followed by 15 minutes of strength training). It's $5 to participate. More info here.

Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria Open Mic Night starts at 8 p.m. in Maryville. Go cheer on your friends and hear what local amateurs are doing. No cover.

Wrap up the night at the Preservation Pub, where Bliss on Tap will play at 10 p.m. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
