The Daily Plan-It: Knox County Democratic Women's Club, Harvey Broome Group, and Misery and Gin

Good morning! We made it through Monday! Now take a look at what's going on around town today.

From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., IRS-certified volunteers will be on hand at Knox County CAC (2247 Western Ave) to help low- to moderate-income earners file their taxes for free. For more info call (865) 546-3500.

At noon in the visitor center, check out Nikki Talley, who'll perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special along with William Wild. As always, it's free to attend.

The Knox County Democratic Women's Club will have its monthly meeting at Shoney's (4410 Western Ave) at 6 p.m. For more info call (865) 742-8234.

The Harvey Broome Group of the Sierra Club will also have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. The group will discuss outdoor recreation, conservation, and ecology. Check out the group's website for more info, and info on club outings.

Wrap up the night at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria, where Misery and Gin (featuring Wes Lunsford, Devan Jones, Hunter Deacon, and Daniel Kimbro) will play some classic country, rockabilly and rock 'n' roll tunes at 10 p.m. No cover. 21+ only.
