The Daily Plan-It: Last-Minute Tax Assistance, the Levee Drivers, and Desert Noises

Good morning! Happy (?) Tax Day! Take a look at what's going on this Tuesday.

You still have a window to get your taxes filed today! And Knox County CAC (2247 Western Ave) will have IRS-certified volunteers on hand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help low- to moderate-income earners file their taxes for free. For more info, call (865) 546-3500.

At noon in the visitor center, the Levee Drivers will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Michaela Anne. As always, the show's free to attend. And if you miss the Levee Drivers, you can catch them tonight at the Bowery at 9 p.m., where they'll open for the Grand Nationals. That show is $5 to attend. 18+ only.

At 6 p.m., squeeze in a workout at Southside Baptist Church, where Carrie Jackson will teach a zumba class. It's $8 to participate. More info here.

The K-Town Showdown Open Mic Night at the Preservation Pub starts at 7 p.m. Go cheer on your friends (and some strangers, too)! There's no cover! 21+ only.

Utah classic rockers Desert Noises will perform at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria at 10 p.m. 21+ only.
