The Daily Plan-It: NAMI Mental Illness Course, David Wilcox and KJO's Ellington Tribute

Good morning! It's Monday again, but there's plenty going on today to keep you busy. Take a look.

At noon, the Amused Life Collective will have a BellyFlow class, which is a gentle dance class with elements of belly dancing and a yoga-like flow. It's $5 to take the class. More info here.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness will have an eight-week course for those who need help coping with a loved one's mental illness. The free class tonight starts at 6:30 at First Farragut United Methodist Church. Pre-registration is required, so call (865) 671-0703 or (865) 406-3092 to do that.

At 7 p.m., Asheville singer/songwriter David Wilcox will perform for WDVX. Tickets to see his show live are $10. Buy them at the door (which opens at 6), or at the Blue Plate Special.

The Knoxville Jazz Orchestra will celebrate legendary jazz musician Duke Ellington with the help of pianist Aaron Diehl, a veteran of Wynton Marsalis' band. The show starts at 8 p.m. at the Bijou Theatre. Tickets are $32. Buy them here.

Wrap up the night at the Well, where Comedy Con Queso Open Mic Night starts at 9. When you open a tab, you get free cheese while you listen to some local comics try to make you laugh. No cover! 21+ only.
