The Daily Pulse:

"Stayin' Alive" With Knoxville Folk-Rock Band Cereus Bright

Knoxville folk-rock band Cereus Bright is heading out on tour this summer, with two separate legs in June and August scheduled to take them through the Midwest and into California. In preparation for the busy season and its promotional opportunities, the band teamed up with Paste to premiere its new video for a Mumford-style cover of the Bee Gees' classic disco anthem "Stayin' Alive."

"It's fun, and recognizable, and everyone has heard it but very few people have taken the time to listen to it," singer/guitarist Tyler Anthony told Paste. "It's not just a [sic] upbeat pop song, but also a song about confidence, fear, death and identity, all built on solid melodies. In other words, it's a good song, and it deserves to be listened to."
