The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Kids' Crafts, Capoeira, and Primus

Good morning! We made it through Monday. Now take a look at what's going on around town today.

At noon in the visitor center, Garrett Lamarr Ivey will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special along with Tim Carroll. As always, it's free to attend.

The Blount County Public Library will host a crafting session for kids in grades K-6  at 4 p.m. It's free to attend!

At 6, head over to the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture to try your hand at Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art/dance. The first class you take with the group is free, and $5 for each subsequent class.

'90s goofball prog band Primus will perform at the Tennessee Theatre tonight at 8. Tickets are sold out, but they were originally $39.50. Ask around!

Wrap up the night at Scruffy City Hall, where Opposite Box will perform at 11. 21+ only.
