The Daily Plan-It: Life Drawing Session, Capoeira, and the Swingtime Ensemble Group

Good morning! It's already Thursday! Woo! So take a look at what's going on around town today.

At noon in the visitor center, James Crawford will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special. As always, it's free to go check out the show.

Artists, grab your sketching materials and $10, and head over to the Candoro Arts and Heritage Center for a life drawing session with live models and no instruction. Membership is not required. For more info call (865) 573-0709.

Need a new workout, or just a new hobby? Check out capoeira, the Brazilian dance-influence martial arts.There will be a student-led training session tonight at 6 at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture to review skills. It's $12 to participate.

As part of the city's summertime concert series on Thursdays, the Swingtime Ensemble Group will perform on Market Square at 7 p.m. It's free to attend!

Wrap up the night at the Preservation Pub where local reggae outfit Fat Penguin will perform at 10 p.m. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
