The Daily Plan-It: Greenwood Mural, Design Center Tour of Jackson, and the Big Pink

Good morning! We're getting closer to the weekend! Take a look at what's going on around town today.

Marion Greenwood's "History of Tennessee" mural and several other paintings will be on display at the Downtown Gallery, which is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It's free to go check it out!

At noon in the visitor center, catch John Nemeth perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special along with Charlie Whitten. It's free to attend!

The Community Design Center's annual fundraising tour will hit Jackson Avenue today at 5:30. Tickets to see all the nifty places and spaces on the street are $60. More info here.

Head over to the Laurel Theater tonight at 8 for some traditional square dancing while the Hellgrammites provide the soundtrack. It's $5-$7 to participate. 

Wrap up the night at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria, where the Big Pink will perform covers of Bob Dylan, the Band, and Wilco. 21+ only.
