Good morning and happy hump day! We're halfway through the week! Hang in there and check out what's going on around town today.

Smart Toys and Books will have crafts for elementary school-aged kiddos today at 11 a.m. It's $6 to participate. More info here.

Juliet and the Lonesome Romeos will perform at noon in the visitor center for WDVX's Blue Plate Special, along with Michael and Jennifer McLain. It's free to attend!

Metro Pulse columnist Stephanie Piper will give a talk at UT's Preston Medical Library this afternoon at 4:30. The topic of the day is "Where Medecine Mingles with the Muse." It's free to attend!

The Knoxville Film and Music Festival kicks off its events today at 5 p.m. with a workshop called "Crowdfunding your Film." The short film block starts at 7. It's all at Scruffy City Hall, so head over! More info here.

Colleen Moore will teach an open-level ballet class at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture tonight at 7:30. No experience is necessary! It's $5 to participate. More info here.
