The Daily Plan-It: The Black Cadillacs, Life Drawing Session, and Belly Dance

Good morning! It's Thursday! It's also USA vs Germany day! Choose your team wisely. And take a look at what's going on around town.

At noon in the visitor center, catch Guthrie Brown and the Family tree perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special, along with hometown boys the Black Cadillacs. It's free to attend!

At 1 p.m., middle and high school students can go play chess at the Blount County Public Library in Maryville. It's free to attend!

Artists! At 2 p.m., the Candoro Arts and Heritage Center will have a life drawing session with live models and no instruction. Just bring your sketching materials and $10 to participate. Membership is not required. For more info call (865) 573-0709.

Looking for a new workout? Try belly dancing. There's a beginners' class tonight at 8 p.m. at Knox Dance Worx (10541 Kingston Pike). It's $12 to participate. For more info call (865) 898-2126 or email alexia@alexia-dance.com.

Wrap up the night at the Pilot Light where Purple 7 will perform with Big Bad Oven and Dude F---ken Whatever. The show starts at 10 p.m. Cover's $5. 21+ only.
